Auntie Poopsie started playing piano at the age of 5 and has had her hands in many musical adventures. Musical theatre, choral directing and vocal coaching are a few of the endeavors she has taken on from time to time. Her favorite genres of music to sing are Gospel, Cowboy Swing, 1940's, Children's and Novelty.  Her instruments include piano, guitar, mandolin, clawhammer banjo and accordion.

Auntie Poopsie's real name is Barbara Moon. Barbara grew up in the Twin Cities area. She currently lives in a suburb close to Downtown Minneapolis with her husband.  Mr. Poopsie is a country guy and moved to the cities for her. True Love! The nest is empty and she and her husband are currently looking for a house or a farm in a quiet, little town. (Update!  The house in the country has been purchased!  Yippee!)   

 

Barbara is also one third of the group The Gallery Trio, an acoustic vocal trio that sings and plays Americana Music.
